Carondelet Park Rec Complex Youth Sports

Kids who play sports at the Y discover so much more than their athletic abilities. They build character, develop self-confidence and create healthy relationships. Our approach allows players to learn and have fun! YMCA Youth Sports are open to Y members and non-members. Members receive the lowest program fees.

Youth Baseball League – Click here to register!
(Boys Grades 3-6)

Instructional league for boys in grade 3 and up to learn the basics of baseball in gameplay. League features one practice during the week and games on Saturdays. Participants should register for the grade they are entering in the Fall. Weekly practices and games will be at the Y or another location. Practice days and times will be determined by availability. Families will receive practice and game schedules in advance by email. Teams (Grades K and up only) may have away games at other YMCA locations. We limit travel as much as possible.

(Girls Grades 3-6)

Instructional league for girls to learn the basics of softball in gameplay. Weekly practices and games will be at the Y or another location. Practice days and times will be determined by availability. Participants should register for the grade they are entering in the Fall. Instructional league for boys and girls in grades Ktg - 6th to learn the basics of basketball in game play. League features one practice during the week and games on Saturdays. Participants should register for the grade they are entering in the Fall. Kindergarten - 2nd Grade are co-ed leagues. Grade 3-6 teams may be made Coed to form full teams. South City and Carondelet teams may be combined to form full teams. Weekly practices and games will be at the Y or another location. Practice days and times will be determined by availability. Families will receive practice and game schedules in advance by email. Teams (Grades K and up only) may have away games at other YMCA locations. We limit travel as much as possible. Coaches are volunteers. Please let us know if you are interested in coaching.

Kids develop skills, learn fundamentals and practice teamwork while getting physically fit, making friends and having fun. We encourage family involvement and participation over winning. Teams coached by volunteers. Jerseys and awards included.

About YMCA Youth Sports Leagues

YMCA coaches participate on a volunteer basis and receive training and support from sports staff. Attendance at one coach’s meeting is required. Please let us know if you’re interested.       

Weekly practices will be at the Y or a predetermined location chosen by the Y. Practice days and times are determined by availability.

Teams may have away games at other YMCA locations. We limit travel as much as possible.
