RDs are trained to provide personalized nutrition plans that support your goals with sustainable lifestyle changes for you to live your healthiest life. RDs are also licensed to help you manage chronic medical conditions such as; diabetes, high cholesterol, obesity, CHF, malnutrition, kidney disease and high blood pressure.
Meet the Dietitian
Marie Gorski, MFN, RD, LD
As a Registered Dietitian, Marie is passionate about helping clients meet their wellness goals such as:
- Weight loss/gain
- Diabetes/pre-diabetes
- Heart disease/CHF
- Blood Pressure/hypertension
- Cancer
- Plant based diets (vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, flexitarian)
- Weight loss trends (keto, intermittent fasting, intuitive eating, etc.)
- Women’s health (fertility, PCOS, maternal healthy)
- Healthy aging (65 and up)
- General wellness
Marie completed her Masters of Food and Nutrition Sciences and Dietetic Internship in 2012 from Bowling Green State University and Bachelors of Science - Dietetics in 2010 from Fontbonne University
In her free time, Marie enjoys cooking, hiking, photography, traveling, spending time with her two human and one canine children and is currently training to become a certified yoga instructor.

Nutrition Services
Nutrition Counseling is an evidence-based approach to treating chronic conditions through nutrition. Nutrition Counseling treats a variety of chronic conditions through in-depth, individualized nutrition care. This journey includes an assessment of your eating habits and overall lifestyle and a personalized nutrition plan to help you live a healthier life!
Monthly dietitian-approved nutrition workshops are held by experienced and knowledgeable Y Health and Wellness staff Health. We offer a variety of rotating topics, including eating health on a budget, reading food labels, sports nutrition, diabetes management, and more!
Join our Health and Wellness team for monthly cooking classes where we explore a variety of health topics such as “Brain Food - Eating for Healthy Aging” and “Global Cuisine”. Cooking classes are led by a Registered Dietitian or Health Coach or occasional guest speakers!
