Adaptive sports programs at the Y provide children and adults with disabilities the chance to play sports and participate in learning opportunities in a safe, fun atmosphere. The Y, in partnership with The Miracle League, provides a chance to experience the joys and benefits that come from playing baseball.

ADAPTIVE BASEBALL LEAGUES

Miracle League Programming Locations:

• Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex (Catch 22 Miracle Field)
• South County YMCA (coming soon)

Program Information:

Our adaptive baseball league has been modified to meet the needs of each child no matter their ability level. Coaches and buddies will support each child to ensure they have a fun, memorable experience. Competitive League will play on Monday evenings. Non-Competitive League will play on Saturdays.

Ages: 5-24 (non-competitive), 8-24 (competitive)
Registration Begins: May 30
Season Begins: Week of August 29
Fee: $25
• All players receive a jersey and hat.
Financial assistance available.

FALL ADAPTIVE BASKETBALL

Programming Location:

• Chesterfield Family YMCA

Program Information:

Our adaptive basketball league has been modified to meet the needs of each child no matter their ability level. Coaches and buddies will support each child to ensure they have a fun, memorable experience. Competitive League will play on Thursday evenings. Non-Competitive League will play on Tuesday evenings.

Ages: 5-24 (non-competitive), 8-24 (competitive)
Registration Begins: August 1
Season Begins: Week of October 31
Fee: $25
• All players receive a jersey.
Financial assistance available.

INTEGRATED FITNESS

For people in St. Louis County and St. Louis City with a documented developmental disability, the Y provides opportunities to be engaged in a number of programs. Trained staff assist and help ensure each person is able to become familiar and comfortable with programs and equipment, including cardio and group exercise, aquatics, lap swimming, strength training and a variety of other activities.
