WHO: The Gateway Region YMCA WHAT: Celebrating 170 years of history in St. Louis! Each branch of the Gateway Region YMCA will host a small celebration. Members and staff will enjoy cake and light refreshments on its foundation day (October 13).

WHAT: Affinia Healthcare will celebrate the addition of its new $7.5 million location in Ferguson, MO with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The new facility, built adjacent to the Emerson YMCA, is approximately 15,000 square feet in size, and includes 23 medical exam rooms, four dental operatories, two behavioral health exam rooms and two Medication Assisted Treatment exam rooms.

YMCA Launching Adaptive Sport Leagues for St. Louis Region

On June 22, 2022, the Gateway Region YMCA announced the launch of its inaugural baseball and basketball adaptive sports programs. Youth and young adults throughout the St. Louis region who have physical or cognitive disabilities will have an opportunity to play sports as a team member in an organized program.
