Summer Camp at the Y is a time for kids to explore, discover, and create in a place that encourages confidence and community.

Summer Day Camp Offerings
Our camps will be held at the Emerson YMCA in Ferguson. They are designed for teens ages 13-17. The hours are 9 am-4 pm.
Teen Camps (Ages 13-17)
These camps are designed for our older campers and include arts & crafts, group games, nature exploration, swimming, field trips, and more.
They will be held at the Emerson YMCA in Ferguson.
Exploring Your Next Step, July 10-14
Explore your talents and develop your skills at Teen Camp! Our first week of Teen Camp will give campers the chance to explore the connection between their talents and possible career fields. Campers will go on two field trips each week, meet with career professionals, and explore STEAM and design projects. With a mix of traditional camp activities and career readiness opportunities, campers will end the week ready to explore their possibilities.
Designing Your Next Step, July 17-21
Design your future at Teen Camp! This week, campers will sketch out the future of their dreams and practice the skills to get them there. Campers will also go on two field trips each week, meet with career professionals, swim, and explore STEAM and design projects. With a mix of traditional camp activities and career readiness opportunities, campers will end the week ready to design their next step.
Building Your Next Step, July 24-28
Build your opportunities at Teen Camp! Campers this week will learn how to build a network to support their goals and career. We'll go on two field trips each week, eat at local restaurants, and meet with career professionals, all while still joining in on all the usual camp fun. With a mix of traditional camp activities and career readiness opportunities, campers will end the week ready to grow their opportunities.
Taking Your Next Step, July 31-August 4
Are you ready to impress? To land the job or meet the goal? Get ready to take your next step at Teen Camp! Campers will create a mock resume and participate in a mock interview with career professionals at the end of the week. They'll also go on two field trips, eat at local restaurants, and explore STEAM and design hobbies. With a mix of development opportunities and traditional camp activities, campers will end the week ready to take the next step.
Note: Registrations must be completed by the Wednesday prior to the camp start date for the week. Registrations made after this date will acquire a $10 late fee.
Information, Policies & Parent Handbook
To withdraw your child from the day camp program, please provide written notice to the Camp Registrar at least one week prior to the last day of attendance. Weekly deposit(s) are non-refundable and non-transferable. Re-admittance will be based on space availability.

YMCA Camp Lakewood
Take the adventure to the next level with our Camp Lakewood overnight camp. With a 360-acre lake and more than 5,000 acres of forest-covered hills, caves, creeks and more, there are many opportunities for natural exploration. Whether it's the campfires, swimming, archery, zip lining, sports, canoeing, cookouts, fishing, inflatable water park and kayaking, every camper delights in waking up with a renewed sense of excitement as to what new activities each day at camp will bring. To save 10% on Traditional Summer Day Camps between December 26-January 31, or 5% between February 1-28, use promo code CAMP2023 when registering online. The discount will then be reflected in your transaction. There is no limit to the number of traditional camps you can register for and get the discount, however it can only be used in a singular transaction per child. Traditional Summer Day Camp features arts & crafts, group games, nature exploration, swimming, field trips and more. The Early Bird Special cannot be applied to other camps including specialty, sports, aquatics, preschool, teens, gymnastics and outdoor camps, YMCA Camp Lakewood, Counselor in Training (CIT), and Fun Club extended care.
