BAYER YMCA
The Teen Tech Center is a place where teens can develop critical skills through hands-on activities that explore their interests in coding, radio production, robotics, fashion design, music production, and more!
We work to bridge the digital divide by giving youth access to STEAM education opportunities, relationships that help to build confidence, and a foundation for school and career success.
Teens who engage in our programs will learn new skills that will open and expand opportunities for their future. Registration is required for programs. Other areas of the Teen Tech Center will not require registration and will be first-come, first-served on a walk-in basis.
The Teen Tech Center will offer STEAM related programs in the areas of:
- Coding
- Radio Production
- Fashion Design
- Robotics
- Computer Science
- Gaming
- Virtual Reality
- In-person and Virtual sessions
- Music Production
- Pod Casting
We are proud to offer many of the programs in the Teen Tech Center free to Y members!
Our Teen Leaders Club program has a $5 fee per session.
Due to COVID restrictions the Teen Tech Center is currently only open to Y members.
Non-member teens who are interested in attending the Teen Tech Center can contact Erik Jefferson to find out how to get involved.
Youth and Government
Youth and Government (YAG) provides students the opportunity to experience the democratic process and develop the leadership skills needed to become citizens of a participatory society.
Teen Leaders
Leaders Club provides opportunities for personal and professional development for teens, ages 13-18.
Volunteer
Y volunteers support programs, assist with special events, coach, serve on committees or boards, raise funds or serve to make their communities a better place to live.
