At the Jefferson County YMCA, LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA helps cancer survivors regain strength, improve their well-being and connect with others who understand their journey. Through this free program, participants receive personalized support as they work toward a healthier future.

After undergoing treatment for lymphoma and metastatic endometrial cancer, Tina Hefner struggled with chronic pain and limited mobility. Through LIVESTRONG, she began feeling stronger, regained stamina and discovered she could do things she never thought possible again. For survivors like Tina and Theresa Nanney, the program provides not only physical benefits, but also encouragement and a supportive community.
