🦸♂️ TRADITIONAL CAMP (Hero Week)
Includes: Daily swim, hero training, and guest speakers.
🚀 SPECIALTY CAMPS
Your child will become comfortable in the water, increase swimming skills, practice water safety, and start refining their skills while making friends and having fun.
Campers will work on a variety of different arts and crafts projects throughout the week which they will be able to take home for you!
Jump into fun! We combine skill-building drills and games to boost your camper's gymnastics abilities and self-esteem. Tennis shoes and comfortable clothes are a must!
🦖 TRADITIONAL CAMP (Time Travelers)
Includes: Daily swim, field trip, and lunch.
🚀 SPECIALTY CAMPS
Your child will become comfortable in the water, increase swimming skills, practice water safety, and start refining their skills while making friends and having fun.
You better tell your kids to be on the lookout, because this camp is filled with wild animals! The campers will do different themed crafts and activities, track animals based on foot prints, have their faces painted, and more!
Let your athlete explore all sports and show off their skills! In this camp, campers will play various sports, learn new skills, and have fun competing with the group!
🌟 TRADITIONAL CAMP (Hollywood Week)
Includes: Daily swim, field trip, and lunch.
SPECIALTY CAMPS
Campers will explore different water parks throughout the St. Louis area, attending a new park each day of the week.
Serve up some fun! This beginner-friendly camp introduces campers to the fastest-growing sport around. They will master the basics and put their skills to the test in exciting daily tournaments.
Your kids will get to treat themselves to a week of self-care, including painting their nails, doing their hair, and looking great!

Includes: Daily swim, field trip, and lunch.

Your chef will use recipes to make and taste various dishes. Campers will learn about ingredients, nutrition, food safety, and different cooking methods.

Campers will receive hands-on experience with solving cases, hair testing, shoe prints, and fingerprinting through fun games and activities.
In this camp, campers will learn the basics of fitness, nutrition, and living a healthy lifestyle.
Shoot for the stars with Basketball Camp! Campers will spend their days immersed in the sport, learning fundamental skills like dribbling, shooting, passing, and defense.

This is a great beginner level camp that will introduce your campers to the game of soccer. Campers will focus on dribbling, passing, trapping, as well as learn speed moves and defensive skills.
In this camp, campers will learn the basics of fitness, nutrition, and living a healthy lifestyle.

Includes: Daily swim, field trip, and lunch.

Your child will become comfortable in the water, increase swimming skills, practice water safety, and start refining their skills while making friends and having fun.
Campers will work on a variety of different arts and crafts projects throughout the week which they will be able to take home for you!
Campers will learn the essential skills and strategies of the game. They will bump, set, and spike their way through the week with group drills and scrimmages that encourage teamwork and self-confidence.
🌲 TRADITIONAL CAMP (Nature Week)
Includes: Daily swim, field trip, and lunch.

Your child will become comfortable in the water, increase swimming skills, practice water safety, and start refining their skills while making friends and having fun.

Campers will work on a variety of different arts and crafts projects throughout the week which they will be able to take home for you!
Campers will utilize drills, games, and teamwork to build gymnastics skills and increase self-confidence. These camps are all-things gymnastics for beginners or more experienced gymnasts.
AUGUST CAMPS

Play basketball where it all started—at the Y! This week your child will develop their shooting, passing, and dribbling skills through a variety of games and activities.

The Gateway Region YMCA provides trained staff and accessible spaces to help ensure camp opportunities for every child. When you register online for Summer Day Camp, indicate any needs your child may have and the branch will email you more information and the required forms.

For families who need additional support, we are happy to offer financial assistance opportunities.
At the Y, we stand by the belief that everyone should have the chance to be part of the Y, irrespective of their financial means. To make this possible, we offer financial assistance to those who qualify, supported by the generous contributions to our Annual Campaign. Access the application below. We encourage you to apply early to allow processing time. Following processing, we communicate the approved amount to applicants, which is then applied to their accounts.

🏕️ Overnight Camp Lakewood
The Y's overnight summer camp in Potosi, MO is an experience like no other. YMCA Camp Lakewood brings kids ages 6-17 from all walks of life together to try new things without judgment. With a sprawling 5,000 acre campus and a private 360-acre lake, Camp Lakewood becomes a summer sanctuary accommodating various interests, ranging from paddle boarding to horseback riding to campfires and more.
