JUMP INTO YMCA SUMMER DAY CAMP 2023 AT THE BAYER YMCA!
Summer Camp at the Y is a time for kids to explore, discover, and create in a place that encourages confidence and community.
We offer 11 weeks of camp from June 5 to August 18 for ages 5-14. Camp hours are 9 am-4 pm. Camps are held at Bayer YMCA. In addition, we offer Fun Club, the Y's Before & After Camp Care, which is available as an add-on to all camps at an additional fee. Fun Club allows campers to arrive as early as 7 am and/or stay as late as 6 pm. Fun Club is available for campers ages 5-13.

Traditional Camp (Ages 5-13)
Traditional camp is designed for a wide variety of conventional interests that include arts & crafts, group games, nature exploration, swimming, field trips, and more. Most camp activities are held outdoors with indoor activities provided based on the day and theme. Day campers are divided into groups by the grade level they are entering in the fall.
Registrations must be completed by the Wednesday prior to the camp start date for the week. Registrations made after this date will acquire a $10 late fee.
Fun Club (Ages 5-13)
Fun Club, the Y's Before & After Camp Care, is available as an add-on to all camps at an additional fee. Fun Club allows campers to arrive as early as 7 am and/or stay as late as 4 pm.
Counselor in Training (Age 14)
Counselors in Training (CITs) receive first-hand experience working with campers and the opportunity to cultivate skills and knowledge. The goal of the program is to help teens acquire leadership skills that can be used at school, home and in the community.
Interested CIT families need to submit their application by May 1, 2023. Once an application is received, the Camp Director will contact the applicant and schedule a time for the interview and screening to finalize the selection process. *Please note that not everyone interviewed will be selected for the program* Space is limited.
Requirements
- Time Period: Minimum of 4 Weeks
- Hours: 8:45am-4:00pm
- Fee: $40/Week
Individuals who participate for more than 4 weeks, will not be charged for weeks 5-11.

YMCA Camp Lakewood
Take the adventure to the next level with our Camp Lakewood overnight camp. With a 360-acre lake and more than 5,000 acres of forest-covered hills, caves, creeks and more, there are many opportunities for natural exploration. Whether it's the campfires, swimming, archery, zip lining, sports, canoeing, cookouts, fishing, inflatable water park and kayaking, every camper delights in waking up with a renewed sense of excitement as to what new activities each day at camp will bring.
