YMCA Cheerleading is offered to girls and boys age 5 through 18. Cheerleaders will build self-confidence and self-esteem while developing social skills and healthy relationships with other peers. Learn the fundamentals of cheerleading including basic motions, jumps, cheers and chants. Participants practice once weekly.

    Registration Information

    When registering for All Star Cheer, you commit to a ten-month agreement. All participants must perform an evaluation given by our staff for team placement. You will be required to purchase the following: cheer shoes, practice wear, uniform, and bow. There is a no parent/spectator rule during all classes.     MINI ALL-STARS

    Athletes will continue to learn body awareness and correct form on cheerleading motions, jumps, dance, and tumbling skills. They will also learn one USAF cheer routine that they will use for the cheer season (August-May). This team will practice twice a week for an hour or more.

    YOUTH ALL-STARS

    This class is for advanced cheerleaders. Girls will learn progressive skills on cheerleading motions, jumps, dance, and tumbling skills. They will also learn one USASF cheer routine that they will use for the cheer season (August-May). This team will practice twice a week for an hour or more.

    JUNIOR ALL-STARS

    This team is the most advanced team. Girls will continue progression on cheerleading motions, jumps, dance, and tumbling skills. They will learn one USASF cheer routine that they will use for the cheer season (August-May). This team will practice twice a week for a two hours.

    SENIOR ALL-STARS

    This team will learn advanced skills including: cheerleading motions, jumps, dance, and tumbling. Seniors will learn one USASF cheer routine that they will use for the cheer season (August-May). This class will practice twice a week for an hour or more.

    Gymnastics

    Our gymnastics programs begin as early as 12 months old as a parent-child class, and continue through preschool, progressive, and even competitive levels. We offer a boys program, a teen program, open play time, and more.

    Competitive Dance

    Our competitive dance team features various styles of dance for ages 4-18. Auditions required. Contact Joan Ray for more information on scheduling an audition or to learn more about our team.
