Swim Lessons

Whether it’s gaining the confidence that comes with learning a new skill or building positive relationships that lead to good character and teamwork, participating in sports at the Y is about building the whole person, from the inside out.
Traditional Youth Sports
The Y offers year-round team sports for kids of all ages and skill levels. Every child plays at least half of every game. We welcome Y members and non-members to participate, practice and play. Most sports are offered in 8-week sessions with one game and one practice per week for children K-8. Preschool sports typically have one practice per week with a scrimmage at the end of the season.
Sports offered at this branch include: Basketball, Soccer, & Volleyball.
Martial Arts
Martial arts teaches students to strengthen their bodies and the learn the value of hard work, discipline, honor, integrity and respect. Instructors are highly skilled and provide an encouraging, non-intimidating, and family-friendly environment for students of all ages - while making class fun! Tae Kwon Do combines combat and self-defense techniques with sport and exercise.
Gymnastics
Y gymnastics offers many positive physical benefits and improves confidence and self-esteem! Programs begin for youth as early as 12 months old as a parent-child class and continue through 12 years old.
The values and skills learned early in life are vital building blocks for a successful adulthood, and we believe all kids deserve a strong start and a safe place to grow. Parents trust the Y’s child care programs to support and nurture their children from infancy through the teen years and help them become strong, capable and engaged young people.
Summer Camp
At Y camp, kids have the opportunity to explore, find new talents, try new activities, gain independence, and make lasting friendships and memories. And, above all, it’s so fun! We offer camp throughout the entire summer! Our camps are designed for a wide variety of conventional interests that include arts & crafts, group games, nature exploration, swimming, field trips and more. Camps are themed weekly. Most camp activities are held outdoors with indoor activities provided based on the day and theme. Day campers are divided into groups by the grade level they are entering in the fall. Registration opens on December 26 for the following summer.
School's Out Camp
We offer Schools Out Camp on the days school may not be in session. Campers have fun and stay busy with arts, crafts, group games, sports, swimming and much more!
At the Y, teens feel welcome and have proven success. We offer activities and programs for teens that provide them with academic assistance, employment opportunities and other life skills, all while having fun!
Leaders Club
Leaders Club is a program for teens, ages 13-18 that provides opportunities for personal and professional development. Teens plan out service projects, discuss upcoming events and trips, and vote on which types of development opportunities they would either like to attend or bring into their future meetings. Leaders elect officers on an annual basis who serve as club president, vice president, treasurer, and secretary. These officers have additional responsibilities and assist their advisor to support their peers and ensure the success of the club.
Youth and Government (YAG)
YAG provides students the opportunity to experience the democratic process and develop the leadership skills needed to become citizens of a participatory society.
Youth and Government promotes:
- An understanding of local, state, national, and international concerns
- Research, study, and debate on public issues
- Exploration of careers in public service
- Interaction with adult and youth leaders involved in decision-making processes
- An understanding of political systems and the forum they provide for the effective and peaceful resolution of issues and concerns
- Appreciation for the diversity of viewpoints on public issues and a respect for ideas, beliefs and the positions of others
- Demonstration of citizenship responsibilities and leadership roles essential to the health of a participatory democracy

AVAILABLE PARTY DAYS & TIMES:
All parties are held on Saturdays from 2-4 pm.
WHAT YOUR PARTY INCLUDES:
We are committed to providing a fun entertaining atmosphere for your birthday celebration, for up to 25 guests. The party will start with your time in the designated party area for treats and birthday fun, the remaining hour will be for your activity in either the pool or children center - depending on your purchased party.
PARTY OPTIONS:
Children Center Party: This party is designed for ages 6 years and under. This party includes one hour of playing in the children center followed by one hour in the pool viewing area for your birthday treats.
Splash Party: This party is designed for ages 3 years and older. The party includes one hour of free swim followed by one hour in the pool viewing area for your birthday treats.
Nerf Party: This party includes one hour in the Nerf area to play Nerf war games and one hour in our party area for birthday snacks. Nerf bullets are provided.
PARTY RATES:
- $200 for Y Members
- $250 for Non-Members
GETTING STARTED:
All reservations should be made at least 2 weeks in advance and no more than 3 months in advance. If the reservation is made less than 2 weeks before; no late reservations will be accepted. Reservation requests are taken at the front desk, and will be approved by the Program Director. The Program Director will contact you within 72 hours to confirm your party and take payment over the phone. If you need to cancel your date, we must be notified within 72 hours of your party. There are no refunds, but we are happy to reschedule the party for a later date.

Certifications
We offer certification opportunities year-round for CPR/AED, First Aid. Lifeguarding courses are typically offered in the winter and spring. In addition, Safe Sitter training courses are available year-round.
Kids Night Out
At the Y, we know parents need a break from time to time. With Kids Night Out, parents enjoy a night out while kids engage in fun and safe activities at the Y, including games, crafts, swimming, food, and more!
