The Chesterfield Family YMCA Wavemakers Swim Team is for boys and girls ages 5-21 who can swim at the Stage 5 Level and can swim all four competitive strokes (Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly) with good form and technique. The team practices three-to-four times per week (pool & dry land workout) and competes in local, city-wide, and statewide meets. All participants are required to be members of the Chesterfield YMCA, and must take a placement evaluation to be placed on the team.
