Summer Day Camp
YMCA camps offer kids a chance to explore places, activities and ideas outside their normal lives. At camp, they discover new talents, new interests and new friends. Parents have trusted YMCA camps for generations, because we offer experiences that help foster leadership, self-confidence, and deepen respect for the environments and communities we live in. We offer a huge variety of camp themes, so there’s always a place for your kids at Y camp.
While you're increasing your heart rate, your kids can play, release some energy and make new friends in a supervised, caring environment - all free with your Y household membership. Your kids will have fun with age-appropriate toys, games, and activities. Children ages 6 weeks to 12 years are welcome up to 3 hours per day and parent/guardian must remain at the Y.
Early Childhood Education
For those times when you can’t be there yourself, the Y provides a safe, nurturing environment where your child will learn, grow and thrive. Our Early Childhood Centers are licensed by the State of Missouri (or Illinois) and all child care staff members receive extensive training through the national YMCA of the USA as well as through the Gateway Region YMCA.
Kids Night Out
At the Y, we know parents need a break from time to time. With Kids Night Out, parents enjoy a night out while kids engage in fun and safe activities at the Y, including games, crafts, swimming, food, and more! Our KNO events are held monthly on Saturdays from 5:30-10 pm for ages 5-12.
Child Abuse Prevention Resources and Reporting
In our commitment to provide the best in programs, services and supporting our community, the Gateway Region YMCA has provided an anonymous Concern/Complaint Reporting platform for your use.
To make an anonymous report, please fill out the form OR call 855-347-0751. Reports can be made 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All calls and reports are confidential.
