The Chesterfield YMCA has launched an $9.2 million expansion and renovation project to better serve the changing and growing needs of the community.

The City of Chesterfield continues to experience exciting and explosive growth and development, especially in the areas immediately surrounding our Y. The renovated facility will reimagine the Y for the community, providing a modernized fitness and wellness experience, expanded programs for youth and adults, critical new spaces for community health and nutrition programs, and youth education and support.

We've raised over $630,000 on a goal of $2,000,000, and we need your help to fill that gap!

Decades of Impact

A dedicated group of volunteers and staff first brought the West County YMCA to life in 1965 before the current building was constructed in 1989. Today, the Y is an anchor of Chesterfield for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities and provides more than $100,000 in financial assistance annually so everyone has access to its memberships, programs, and services.

"Thanks to Martha's daily commitment to, and example of, healthy fitness and strength at ANY age, many of us have a new zest for life. The YMCA provides for every man, woman, and child to have that opportunity. After a year of consistent focus on a new and improved lifestyle, I can now, at 78 years old, enjoy a future full of happy times with my children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren! I am indeed grateful!" - Susan
