As a Y member, you are not only a member of a health and wellness facility, you are a member of an organization dedicated to serving community needs. For more than 175 years, we have adapted our mission to address new challenges as they arise. Today, our community is confronted with a new challenge and our Y is again stepping up by:

  • Supporting our members, effective immediately we have suspended your April membership dues.
  • Transitioning our facilities to provide emergency child care for essential personnel so that they can continue their focus on public health and caring for our neighbors in need.
  • Partnering with schools to ensure children and families in need receive healthy meals.
  • Engaging our senior population in wellness calls and identifying their needs for short or long-term isolation.
  • Providing virtual workout options and resources to stay active and engaged while sheltering in place.

During this challenging period, your Y membership is needed now more than ever. As a member of the YMCA, you help us support the community. Your membership dues are a critical investment in helping us our staff.

In addition, our facilities will be closed through April 22 per guidelines from government officials.

Thank you for standing at the ready, stepping up to serve and working in partnership as we navigate this crisis and adjust to a different normal each day. Together, we will get through this. #staywithus

Stay With Us

While we have made the decision not to charge April membership dues, we ask that you continue your monthly membership to provide needed community services. If you can, please help your community by continuing to pay your dues, and if possible, to donate. You can make a big difference in helping our community get through this crisis.

Together, we can do things that we never imagined before.

As a thank you for continuing your membership dues, members will receive Y Bucks for future programs

It goes without saying that COVID-19 has created enormous uncertainty. However, how we respond is within our control. As soon as we realized the severity of the situation, we mobilized to explore ways the Y could help our community. You play a vital role in helping us deploy these services and serve our community by CONTINUING your membership.

See how your membership helps our community:

Beginning March 23, we will provide critical care for children of first responders and healthcare workers, so they can focus on public health needs. Centers will operate according to the strictest guidelines for health assessments, social distancing and sanitation.

We are reaching out to our most vulnerable population, our senior members, to ensure they are supported, have access to services, and are connected during this time.

We are rolling out resources to keep our members and participants safely connected, active and healthy during this time in spirit, mind, and body. A selection of virtual group exercise classes are available here and on our mobile app

Y staff members are partnering with schools to distribute food to children and families in need.

With recent school and business closures, families are adjusting to a new normal. It can be overwhelming to contemplate what to do with newfound time. We are sharing fun and educational resources for parents and their children during this here.
