The Y offers 12 weeks of full-day camp, May 26 - August 14, for kids ages 3-14.

Camps We Offer:

Fun Club, the Y's Before & After Camp Care, is available as an add-on to all camps, at an additional fee. Fun Club allows campers to arrive as early as 7 am and/or stay as late as 6 pm.

Camp hours: 9 am to 4 pm
(Fun Club 7 - 9 am and/or 4 - 6 pm)

Offered throughout the summer, Traditional Camp is designed for a wide variety of conventional interests that include arts & crafts, group games, nature exploration, swimming, field trips and more. Camps are themed weekly. Most activities will be held outdoors with indoor activities provided based on the day and theme. Day campers will be divided into groups by grade level that they are entering in the fall, with activities appropriate to the interests and needs of each group. Traditional camps will swim in our pool multiple times a week and participate in a weekly field trip. Please bring a lunch, snacks, swim suit, towel, and sunscreen daily. Note that daily plans and field trips may change based on weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

(Fun Club Before & After Care not offered for preschoolers.) 

Preschool Camp is the perfect place for your little one to learn the importance of our YMCA core values; caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Our trained counselors will guide campers through crafts, swimming, and daily time outdoors in our Wild West Community Garden or outdoor play area, gymnasium time on select days, games and other fun activities. We will also have story time, snack and stations each day. Some of our stations include sensory play, fine motor skill development and gross motor skills. We want your child to leave camp with memories that last a lifetime. All campers must be toilet trained. Please bring a water bottle, snack, towel, swimsuit, puddle jumper and smile each day!

Special Interest Camps are designed to offer activities focused on a particular interest or interest group, learning or progressive opportunity while incorporating overall Traditional Y camp principles. Examples include art, cooking and other activities. Camp size may be smaller in nature and camps may be offered either indoors or outdoors based on the specified interest.

Sports camps offer youth specialized sports training and are designed to teach sports skills, fair play, teamwork and sportsmanship while reinforcing the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Sports play will be separated by age. Sports camps will take weekly field trips on Wednesdays.

Tween and Teen Camps are designed for our older campers ages 8-14 and focus on areas of interest such as cooking, various field trips and adventure.

CITs are provided first-hand experience working with campers and the opportunity to cultivate skills and knowledge in the day camp setting. CITs are selected through an application and interview process. Training and a 4-week commitment are required if selected. Space is limited. Applications will be available in January 2020, and are due April 17, 2020.

Camp Meet 'n Greet

Parents of new and returning campers are highly encouraged to attend our Meet 'n Greet. Important information will be shared to ensure your camper will be prepared and have a positive first experience. Parents will also have the opportunity to meet the camp staff and ask specific questions. We encourage you to bring the family!

Camp Lakewood - Our Overnight Camp!

Take the adventure to the next level with our Camp Lakewood overnight camp. With a 360-acre lake and more than 5,000 acres of forest-covered hills, caves, creeks and more, there are many opportunities for natural exploration. Whether it’s campfires, swimming, archery, climbing tower, zip line, sports, canoeing, cookouts, fishing, and kayaking every camper delights in waking up with a renewed sense of excitement as to what new activities each day at camp will bring. Y members receive discounts.
