Whether your child is interested in exploring, creating, competing or learning, Summer Day Camp at the Y offers the perfect solution. We provide a safe experience for kids to learn new skills, build self-confidence, make lasting friendships, and above all, have fun! 


The Y offers 12 weeks of camp, May 26 - August 14, for kids age 3-grade 8. Full-day camp is for kids grades K-8 and half-day camp, Wee Y Camp, is for ages 3-5.

Camps We Offer:

Fun Club, the Y's Before & After Camp Care, is available as an add-on to all camps, at an additional fee. Fun Club allows campers to arrive as early as 6:30 am and/or stay as late as 6 pm.

Camp hours: 9 am to 4 pm
(Fun Club 6:30 - 9 am and/or 4 - 6 pm)

Join us for one week or for an entire summer of fun! We focus on honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility in all of our activities, from recreational camper-chosen skill sessions to swimming to arts and crafts and games. We provide fun-filled activities that allow for physical involvement, social interaction, educational opportunities, leadership building, personal growth and creativity. Day campers will be divided into groups, by grade level they are entering in the fall, with activities appropriate to the interests and needs of each group. Each week includes weekly field trips as well as a weekly movie viewing at the local movie theatre (only weeks 2-9). 

Members $135/week, Non-members $165/week
(Fee for 4-day camp week May 26 - 29 is Members $108/week, Non-Members $132/week)

Wee Y Camp is the perfect place for your little one to learn the importance of our YMCA core values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Our trained counselors will guide campers through crafts, weekly swimming, outdoor play, games, and other fun activities.

Three-Day Camp: Members $55/week, Non-members $75/week
Two-Day Camp: Members $45/week, Non-members $65/week

Special interest camps are designed to offer activities focused on a particular interest, while incorporating overall traditional Y camp principles. Camp size may be smaller and may be offered either indoors or outdoors based on the specific interest.

Aquatics Camps are designed for swimmers of all levels. Your child will become comfortable in the water, increase swimming skills, practice water safety and receive a great start to refining skills while making friends and having fun! Activities include swim lessons, games, water safety skills and splash time.

At the Y, we teach the value of sportsmanship and teamwork. Join our sports camps to learn the basic skills of each sport, while also enjoying other camp activities such as swimming, crafts, camp games and a weekly field trip.

CITs are provided first-hand experience working with campers and the opportunity to cultivate skills and knowledge in the day camp setting. CITs are selected through an application and interview process. Training and a 4-week commitment are required if selected. Space is limited. Applications will be available in January 2020, and are due Wednesday, April 1, 2020.

Camp Meet 'n Greet

Parents of new and returning campers are highly encouraged to attend our Meet 'n Greet. Important information will be shared to ensure your camper will be prepared and have a positive first experience. Parents will also have the opportunity to meet the camp staff and ask specific questions. We encourage you to bring the family!

Camp Lakewood - Our Overnight Camp!

Take the adventure to the next level with our Camp Lakewood overnight camp. With a 360-acre lake and more than 5,000 acres of forest-covered hills, caves, creeks and more, there are many opportunities for natural exploration. Whether it's campfires, swimming, archery, climbing tower, zip line, sports, canoeing, cookouts, fishing, and kayaking every camper delights in waking up with a renewed sense of excitement as to what new activities each day at camp will bring.
